Saw a praying mantis today! 8/5/09 Cool mornings and beautiful sunshine here in the Adirondacks! 5/14/09 The wind is howling outside. Pass on through storm to make way for the sun tomorrow! 5/13/09 What a glorious day! Warm, clear blue sky and creek full of tadpoles! 4/9/09 Full moon tonight and, could it be, a clear sky?! Yes! 4/1/09 We had an April Fools Day joke played on us today-the forecast was for sun and warmth and instead it was cloudy, windy and cool. The crocuses are now in bloom! 3/27/09 Woke up to the glorious sound of birds chirping. Jays, cardinals and robins are out in abundance. 2 bunnies made an appearance this evening. A beautiful sunny, spring day. 3/26/09 I've started to clean out the garden beds. We've had days of sun and are now getting a spring rain. The daffodils are coming up! 3/10/09 We had a squirrel and a woodpecker at the bird feeder today. The squirrel also loved a jar of peanut butter we left out.
