Freezer paper stencilled t-shirts and a tie dyed t-shirt(J made the tie dye at a friend's house).
A ring made from a dollar bill. This is the book with the ring in it. There are so many fun, creative ideas in here!Gross food. Dinner! Actually, while I was making this for the kids they were invited to a friend's house for dinner so Jeff had to eat it for dinner. Yum, yum! ;)
Andrea-Yes, you should take pity on my poor husband. This is as good as it gets around here!;) Joy-It is soooooo easy and everything comes out great. Just stick to easy designs.
I bought all the stuff to do freezer stenciling, but haven't gotten around to it yet. You have inspired me! Yours turned out great! I love that Exploratopia book. We go to the Exploratorium in San Francisco a lot. Have a great weekend!!!
I have just caught up on about two weeks worth of blog entries (I was threatened with removal from the auto notice). I must say the photography has reached quite an impressive level of expertise from the garden shots to the candids of the kids, etc. As for the hot dog cum pasta, the best strategy is to pull the pasta out, use a hot dog roll and order a pizza.
Love the freezer paper t-shirts, I have not tried it myself yet. We do love making and wearing tie dye!! I would love for you to check out my giveaway! Child and mama vintage aprons : )
11/8/09 Crazy warm temperatures. 64 degrees today, bright and sunny. I'll take it! 10/1/09 Cold and rainy. 9/5/09 We have been having a beautiful stretch of sunny weather. Mornings are cool. Saw a praying mantis today! 8/5/09 Cool mornings and beautiful sunshine here in the Adirondacks! 5/14/09 The wind is howling outside. Pass on through storm to make way for the sun tomorrow! 5/13/09 What a glorious day! Warm, clear blue sky and creek full of tadpoles! 4/9/09 Full moon tonight and, could it be, a clear sky?! Yes! 4/1/09 We had an April Fools Day joke played on us today-the forecast was for sun and warmth and instead it was cloudy, windy and cool. The crocuses are now in bloom! 3/27/09 Woke up to the glorious sound of birds chirping. Jays, cardinals and robins are out in abundance. 2 bunnies made an appearance this evening. A beautiful sunny, spring day. 3/26/09 I've started to clean out the garden beds. We've had days of sun and are now getting a spring rain. The daffodils are coming up! 3/10/09 We had a squirrel and a woodpecker at the bird feeder today. The squirrel also loved a jar of peanut butter we left out.
I've always wanted to try the freezer paper stenciling, but haven't yet. Was it very difficult? Maybe the next rainy weekend we'll give it a whirl.
ReplyDeleteI have so many comments about that dinner that I don't even know where to start! Jeff, I will make you a steak, really.
